I'm here to help other people be creative.

I have no formal training as a teacher. No sheepskin. No letters after my name.

But I have spent the last couple of decades intensively tutoring one student: myself. I've taught myself to write, to draw, to think about all things creative. And to unburden myself of all the obstacles that get in the way of reaching my full creative potential. 

Now I take all those lessons and I share them. I share them with kids around the world. With adults in workshops. And online in my very own art school...

SketchbookSkool.com is a new idea in art education. Rather than just focussing on specific techniques, we aim to inspire artists of all levels to embrace and expand their creativity. Our faculty are artists, illustrators, architects, teachers, and designers from San Diego to Stockholm to Sydney.
